Being asked to 'do the flowers' by close friends is always an honour although it does come with an extra level of stress!
The colour scheme was vibrant and happy and the perfect bloom to fit the bill were gorgeous dahlias grown at a local flower farm. The morning before the wedding I was let loose in the dahlia tunnel to pick buckets of flowers ready to put together for the special day.
I created simple bright and fun flowers for this relaxed festival style wedding. Lucy had spent weeks hand making woolen pompoms to incorporate into the table centerpieces and beautiful crafted paper lanterns to hang from the beams.
The bridal bouquet was so fun to make and there were quirky button holes for the gents!
