My story

Growing up in North Yorkshire in the heart of Wensleydale, my childhood was spent exploring and losing myself in wild beautiful landscapes. Living within an ancient walled garden always overflowing with colour and textures, my interest in nature and in particular flowers was born.

My love of flowers began by making 'potions' in the garden, crushing rose petals and hips from my mothers prized roses. Fast forward to 2002, life took me on a path to the south of France where I have lived ever since. After obtaining a degree in International Business, I moved to France to pursue a career in marketing but the pull of a more creative hands-on vocation was always ever present.

After the birth of my daughter, Grace, I returned to my studies and trained in Floristry at the Cambridge Flower School and the prestigious Tallulah Rose Flower School in Bath. Working alongside a local event and wedding florist, I developed my own style and Dandelions & Grace was founded.

I specialise in wedding and event flowers as well as creating luxury floral arrangements for yachts along the Cote d'Azur.

My style is natural, organic, elegant and romantic aiming to use seasonal blooms sourced from local growers and markets with the odd foraged whimsical details. I blend the wild essence of North Yorkshire with the timeless elegance of the French Riviera to create work that is individual and bespoke for your special occasions.

I am studio based and work from a converted atelier in my garden in Grasse. Please feel free to contact me to discuss any of your floristry needs and I look forward to hearing from you.
