I'm Claire, the founder and floral designer behind Dandelions & Grace.​

Originally from North Yorkshire I moved to France in 2002 after completing my degree in International Business Studies at Newcastle University. After several years in the corporate world, I finally followed my passion to work creatively and completed a number of professional floristry courses in the UK going on to found Dandelions & Grace in 2018

 

Based in the hills behind Cannes, my garden studio is tucked beneath the shade of a beautiful old Tilleul tree. Nestled on the outskirts of Grasse, surrounded by flowers grown for the iconic perfume houses, I design florals for weddings and events across the Cote d’Azur and Provence.

With the Mediterranean close by I also create bespoke floral designs for luxury superyachts, from the bays of Saint Tropez and Cannes to Monaco.

​

Flowers, gardens and nature generally are my true passions. Living in such a breath taking part of the world I embrace every opportunity to enjoy walks by the sea, hikes in alpine meadows, or explore local markets and brocantes for inspiration.

 

Floral design is an outlet for me to express myself and to share its beauty. I adore working on weddings, it’s such a privilege to be a part of someone’s special day and to share in their joy. With Yachts it’s a different kind of creative energy —fast-paced(last minute!), ever-changing, and full of excitement. I can design with bold forms, clean lines, and contemporary arrangements that complement the sleek surroundings.
